Unlike, ‘The Odyssey’ as told by Homer, the story of warrior Odysseus’ ten-year journey home from Troy, My ‘Odyssey’ is one of a quest of self-discovery, a spiritual wandering through the layers of my soul.
Seemingly always searching for something I have yet to discover, or allowed to be discovered. Searching for what I do not know what I need, or do I? Yet I keep searching through the depths, digging through the rubble to find what I’m looking for, that which I do not know what I’m looking for…so I keep digging. Digging until it hurts too much to move forward, then I stop.
Do I go in another direction? Leaving behind the possibilities of what could be? For me, the path is ever-evolving, changing with hills, mountains, turns, and twists. There is no particular path but instead one of self-discovery, care, and love.
A continued journey of hope and seeking that little light showing you, all will be ok. You are on the right path. You are doing the right thing. You matter. You are making a difference and that sometimes doing the wrong thing is the right thing to do and vice versa. All will be ok we are all made of stardust.
